Ne-Yo, Aaron Fresh, Nick Cannon and Burnham were all rockin it out at Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square on Thursday (September 23), all to help save children’s lives. “I’m a firm believer in God,” Ne-Yo said. “No disrespect to anyone that believes in anything else, but whatever the case may be, I feel like if you’re blessed and you don’t use your blessings to be a blessing to someone else then your blessings stop. Ne-Yo stopped by Billy Bush’s radio studio to discuss his new single ‘Champagne Life’, his tour, whether he’d produce a Broadway play and being a bit unimpressed with music he’s been seeing lately. “I love Eminem’s new album, but I am a little bit unimpressed with the state of music right now,” Ne-Yo explained. “I mean, the whole concept of bandwagon has been a part of the music industry from the beginning of time. Somebody steps out on a ledge and takes a chance at something and they’re successful at it, and everybody follows suit for a little while. I get that. Totally undertand that. I won’t say I was the first person to bring that UK sound over here. I was not the first person, I was one of the first to do it successfully, and after the fact you get 27 other people to do the same thing. I get it, but at the same time it does nothing for music, it does nothing for radio, turn on the radio and every song sounds the same… It gets boring for me, so I know that for the consumer, it gets boring for you.” Watch the interview via YouTube below.

Ne-Yo visited KIIS FM in Los Angeles to talk with JoJo about his new album ‘Libra Scale’, in stores September 20th. The R&B star talked about Katy Perry’s nice posterior, being impressed with Diddy in ‘Get Him to the Greek’, not knowing the gender of the baby he’ll be having with girlfriend Monyetta Shaw yet, his Twitter account, his web sites, putting together his tour and hopes to go everywhere, sleeping in his Atlanta bed “maybe 20 times in 3 years.” JoJo ended with a request to take a big step in their relationship and touch Ne-Yo’s head, eventually agreeing to maybe broach the subject next time he’s in the studio.
