On March 27th in Melbourne’s Espy Gershwin Room, Australia’s #1 Hip-Hop producer M-Phazes brought together some of Australia’s finest emcee’s and performers to help him launch his debut album Good Gracious and allaussie hip hop were lucky enough to be there.

The new Mata & Must 7?  Skills Don’t Pay / Business In Tracksuits is here. The launch for the 7? vinyl will feature One Sixth, Fluent Form, Maundz, Maggot Mouf, Dekoda, Full Spectrum, Vince Van Go and Papercutts. All this Saturday July 31, at The Birmingham. Free entry before 10.30/$5 after.

After supporting some of the biggest names in hip hop, the guys have decided to put together a little launch party for the new album, The Vortex (out now on UKNOWHO Records), along with some of their friends who happen to be featured on the album, not to mention a surprise international guest.

The Vortex has been receiving great reviews from Triple J to Fresh FM and even from Onion to name a few. The Vortex is even being considered by some as the best Australian Hip Hop album of 2010 to date. (We have our review coming soon!) If you think that’s good, then you are in store for one of the best live shows you will see. With Despair behind the wheels of steel, and Dialect manning the mic, it is sure to be one of the biggest, and best nights out you will have for some time.
