RnB singer and producer R. Kelly is apparently facing foreclosure on his luxurious house which is located in Chicago, Illinois.
The star who has sold millions of records and has produced hits for Celine Dion, Micheal Jackson and Jay-Z is said to be several months behind his multiple bedroom Olympia Fields mansion payments which includes a tennis court, fountains and indoor swimming pool.
According to reports published by a Chicago news paper, JPMorgan Chase Bank which originally gave Robert Kelly the $3.5 million loan in 1999 filed a lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court stating that the music icon has not made his monthly mortgage payments on the 11,000-square-foot mansion since June of 2010.
While R.Kelly has refused to comment on the story, sources close to the star have revealed that he has no financial problems, has moved out of the house over a year ago and is simply trying to force Chase Bank into modifying his loan seeing that the home’s appraised value has fell 26 percent in a year.
