Superproducer Swizz Beatz is being honored at a gala benefit at the Bellevue Hospital Atrium in New York City. Swizz has taken part in an anti-gun campaign in New York City and will be alongside Mayor Michael at the event, which is designed to bring awareness to public healthcare and the weapons campaign, which is called “Guns Down, Life Up.”

Dr. Bruce Siegel M.D., M.P.H/CEO of the National Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems will also be honored at the event.

George Clinton, Sheila E., Doug E. Fresh, Questlove of The Roots, Marley Marl, Kangol Kid, Kool Herc, Bernie Worrell, Paul Shaffer, Hezekiah Walker, Meredith Vieira and others are expected to be in attendance at the event.

Swizz and his two sons shot this “It’s All Connected” music video to promote his upcoming appearance on an episode of PBS Kids’ The Electric Company, which will air on February 21st.
