”Underrated” Won’t Be Released Until 2012

Bow Wow’s Cash Money Records debut album has been pushed back again. The rapper has announced that his project Underrated has been delayed from its initial December 6th release date and is now projected to be released in 2012.

He nonetheless has released a single “Sweat” with Lil Wayne and shot a video.

There is no definitive release date projected for the album as of yet.

”That Just Means I’m Relevant”

Master P. sought to explain the title of his upcoming album, Too Many Zeros. The New Orleans mogul was contacted by lawyers for gossip media outlet TMZ over the project, which was originally reported as TMZ: Too Many Zeros.

Master P says that the title has nothing to do with the media brand.

“Me and Harvey [Levin, TMZ's founder] is cool,” Master P. told AllHipHop. “I think he’s a great businessman. I don’t have anything against the media or the cameras being on me, that just means I’m relevant.”

Too Many Zeros is P’s first album in four years and is to be released from his No Limit Forever Records imprint.

Rapper’s New Project Entitled ”Trouble Man”

T.I. is finishing his new album and more details about the project are beginning to emerge. The Atlanta superstar has worked with Two Band Geeks, the production duo consisting of B. Kang and Stroud, and Dr. Luke for the album.

He also revealed the title of the project: Trouble Man, a nod to the 1970s classic by Marvin Gaye.

“I have this one record [titled] ‘Pyro’ that I’m proud of. [...] ‘Pyro’ is a straight party record. It’s nostalgic of those crazy nights, early mornings [but] just turned up,” Tip revealed.

“A lot of times I’m taking myself out of my element,” he explained. “This is the first project where I’m talking about things that I’ve experienced before that I’m not necessarily experiencing now cause I’m not doing a whole lot of partying. I do a little bit but not alot… nothing like when I was in that life.”

”I Recorded 25 To 30 Songs So Far”

T.I. says that he’s hard at work on the follow-up to last year’s disappointed No Mercy. The ‘King of the South’ says that he expects to release the new album sometime early in 2012. and that he plans to release it early next year. The Big KRIT-assisted single “I’m Flexin’” has already generated some buzz for the rapper.

“I’ve narrowed it down between two album titles, and I haven’t chosen which one it’s going to be yet,” he explained. “However, I recorded between 25 to 30 songs so far, and I’m trying to get the album shaped and ready to go for early next year.”

“I don’t know about a mixtape, champ. I’m focused so much on the album that if I do a mixtape, it’ll be a collective effort with me and the new priorities at Grand Hustle,” he said. “I’m doing a lot of work to rebuild and reshape the structure of this company, and once we finalize exactly what that’s going to be and who that will consist of, I will take those new pieces and we will together probably do a mixtape, introducing that new outfit to the world.”

”Nappy Dot Org” To Feature Khujo Goodie

Hip hop group Nappy Roots have been hard at work on their fourth full-length album, the collective’s first working with legendary production team Organized Noize. The Kentucky-based crew is releasing Nappy Dot Org on September 27, and some of the album’s details have surfaced.

Dungeon Family member Khujo Goodie is among the guest stars on the album–alongside Samuel Christian. Organized Noize are the only producers featured.

We knew that Beyonce was hard at work on her fourth studio album, now we are learning that another hard hitter known as Alicia Keys will be releasing new material late 2011.

Keys who recently became a mother and a wife is said to be recording her fifth CD which will be the follow up to her 2009 album, “The Element of Freedom.”

The “How Come You Don’t Call Me” singer has not said much about the project as yet, but her longtime producer Kerry “Krucial” Brothers took it upon himself to break the news. Krucial told music website Rap-Up:

“We do got a release coming this year, but I can’t speak on it yet.Last week we was in the studio working on stuff.”

He went on to say:

“The writing is the same. The only thing changed is the schedule. We leave earlier now. No more to-the-crack-of-dawn stuff — at least not for now.”

It is safe to say that the world will never get to see the Brazilian- inspired music video that was filmed for “Put It in a Love Song” which features Beyoncé.

Weezy, Swizz Guest On ”Give The Drummer Some”

Blink-182 Drummer Travis Barker has begun revealing details about his forthcoming solo album, Give the Drummer Some, due out this coming March. The single “Can A Drummer Get Some” features a bevy of hip hop stars, including Lil Wayne, Swizz Beatz, The Game and Rick Ross.

Slaughterhouse, Kid Cudi, the Clipse, Paul Wall and Kurupt are also among the high-profile guest appearances on the album, which hits stores March 15. The first single, “Jump Down,” features the Cool Kids and is already available.

Barker has also reportedly reunited with Blink-182 and the band will be releasing material this year.
