Rapper Mack 10 is relaunching his Hoo Bangin’ Records label and has already made some official signings. Artists like Mitchy Slick, Bay Area legend Richie Rich, the LBC Crew, and Glasses Malone have all been added to the label’s roster. A collaborative album between Mack 10 and Malone will be Hoo Bangin’s first new release.
“The Mack/Malone project is the perfect way to let folks know that Hoo Bangin is coming back strong” Mack 10 told AllHipHop. “We have been working really hard to make this release a memorable project for our fans. I want Hoo Bangin to become the home of the best on the West.”
Each of the new artists is projected to have an album released before the end of the year, and a new compilation series, “The New West Movement,” will also feature unheralded West Coast acts.
Hoo Bangin’ was Mack 10s label in the late 1990s, and also released music by MC Eiht and Westside Connection, among others.
