Forbes released it’s annual Hip Hop Cash Kings List yesterday (August 16th.) Some of the biggest names in the game still sit atop the famed list, while superstar-turned-merry-prankster 50 Cent has dropped out of the Top Ten.

As expected, Jay-Z is still at the top of the heap with an estimated $63 million earned last year. Rounding out the top five are Diddy ($30 million), Akon ($21 million), Lil Wayne ($20 million) and Dr. Dre ($17 million.)

The other notables in the top 20:

6. Ludacris: $16 million
7. Snoop Dogg: $15 million
8. Timbaland: $14 million
9. Pharrell Williams: $13 million
10. Kanye West: $12 million
11. Drake: $10 million
12. T.I.: $9 million
13. Eminem (tie): $8 million
14. 50 Cent (tie): $8 million
15. Swizz Beatz (tie): $8 million
16. Young Jeezy (tie): $8 million
17. Common (tie): $7 million
18. Soulja Boy (tie): $6 million
19. T-Pain (tie): $6 million
20. Lil Jon/Gucci Mane/Rick Ross (tie): $5 million

“Jay-Z is in a league of his own right now,” says Ryan Schinman, chief of Platinum Rye, the country’s largest buyer of music and talent for corporations. “There are very few artists of any genre, not just hip-hop, who’ve created such brands for themselves.”
