Rihanna Battleship Movie Debut Role
– Singer Rihanna is due to make her debut on the silver screen in Peter Berg’s Battleship. It is not clear what happens with her character in the story, but Rihanna will be starring alongside famous faces such as Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgard. Surprisingly, Rihanna hasn’t yet starred in an feature length films. However, there have been many rumours about her playing different parts in several movies, but none have turned out to be true in the end.
The singer currently has a song at the top of he music charts, “Love The Way You Lie” which is a duet with Eminem.
Kitsch has worked with Peter Berg before after starring in the TV series Friday Night Lights. It is reported that Battleship is due to be released in May of 2012. Many people are eagerly awaiting Rihanna’s debut acting role.
We have yet to see any kind of acting from the star, but if her music career is anything to go by then movie goers are certainly in for a treat. The singer has been in and out of the media non stop, so it would be nice to see what reporters will have to say when she makes her acting debut. Predictions show that the film could be a hit, and adding Rihanna to the mix can do nothing but good things. The star has already sold millions of albums, so let’s hope her acting career goes the same way.
